This year’s gala is an exceptional one as it marks the 10th Masterpiece, with the theme Asian Invasion, “Sparkle of The East” and was held at the Westin Jakarta, Java Ballroom, to commemorate all the creative as well as innovative minds in Asia’s Fashion Industry.
The Masterpiece brings together a stellar ensemble of 10 fashion designers showcasing their best works while highlighting Asian countries such as Mongolia, Armenia as well as Lebanon that are more foreign to public’s ears. Starting off the star studded list is Le Ciel Design with Cambodia, Michelle Alphonsa with Armenia, Wiki Wu with Mongolia, Melta Tan with Lebanon, Gracia Shinta with Kazakhstan, Fetty Rusli with Philippines, Ivan Gunawan with Sri Lanka, Mayaratih couture with Nepal, Albert Yanuar with Taiwan and last but definitely not the least is the show stopping piece by the opulent up-and-coming fashion house, Livette Tenun with Indonesia.
In commemoration of the 10th Masterpiece, Mrs. Liliana Tanoesoedibjo humbly presented her new fashion house Livette Tenun, “Masterpiece is a prestigious event as well as a platform for fashion designers to not only express their creativity, but showcase their best creations to fashion lovers. Livette Tenun designs are all highly unique; to preserve Indonesia’s cultural heritage, we introduce woven fabric into modern designs that can be worn for daily activities as well as events. Not only that, each of our design is one-of-a kind pieces,” continued Mrs. Liliana Tanoesoedibjo as she introduced Livette Tenun as new colors in the fashion industry. With sincerity in each of her work, Livette Tenun presents a variety of highly exclusive, elegant dresses while providing a new concept, as well as design for Indonesian woven fabric lovers which not only provide the wearer beauty but also comfort and pride of wearing one’s cultural heritage.
